Investors Community Bank (ICB), a subsidiary of County Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ:ICBK), recently awarded two $3,000 scholarships to two area college students. 

“Our mission is to create financial solutions where people and relationships make the difference.” said Tim Schneider, ICB’s CEO and Co-Founder. “We believe in the importance of educating our youth and are proud to offer these scholarships as part of our commitment to the community.”

This year’s winners are Morgan Kronforst, a Manitowoc native, and Joe Schlies from Denmark, WI. Both candidates are recognized for their academic achievement and school and community involvement. 

Kronforst is a student at UW – Green Bay, majoring in history with minors in education and women’s gender studies. She has been figure skating for eleven years and is also a coach which has led her to the career path of education. She hopes to teach so that she can give back to the community of teachers that taught her in her youth. Her mission is to one day offer her students a club where they can discuss women empowerment and social justice topics. 

Schlies is a student at UW – River Falls, majoring in agricultural business. He is currently serving as the 2020-2021 Wisconsin FFA State President and hopes to pursue a career in agriculture finance. He grew up on his family’s hobby farm where he says he learned important life skills and gained respect for agriculturists. After completing his undergraduate degree, Joe hopes to complete his Master’s in Business Administration.
